Somewhere between pulling up on the sofa and walking across the room, babies fall. A lot. It's exactly how they learn — but on tile and hardwood, every backward wobble makes a parent's stomach drop.
That's the whole reason Baby Steps exists.
What we make
Baby Steps is a soft, light cushion your little one wears like a tiny backpack. It sits right where they land when they tip backward, adding a gentle layer between them and the floor during supervised play. It comes in friendly animals, in soft plush velvet, and it's machine washable — because everything at this age ends up in the wash.
You can take the backpack on its own, or the full bundle with matching knee pads for crawling and non-slip socks for smooth floors.
What we believe
We won't tell you this stops falls, prevents injuries, or means you can look away. It doesn't, and we'd never claim otherwise. Baby Steps adds a little cushioning during awake, supervised play — nothing more, and nothing we can't stand behind.
What it really offers is a bit less holding your breath. More tumbles that end in a giggle than a cry. A short, busy, beautiful stage made slightly softer for everyone.
